About GSS
Since 1983, this symposium has been organized entirely by the graduate students within the Department of Chemistry at UB. Since that time, GSS has grown into an established and well-known symposium annually hosting as many as 150 participants at the University at Buffalo. This event offers graduate students across the Northeastern United States and Canada a forum to present their research to an audience of their peers. Over the past five years of the symposium graduate students from over thirty institutions have attended.
The symposium is a three day event consisting of a poster session on our second day and with oral presentations given by attending graduate students; highlighted by three keynote speakers who are prominent in their field. This year we are also excited to offer networking breakfast and lunch-and-learn seminars hosted by our corporate sponsors.
Please consider submitting an abstract or attending the symposium, we look forward to hosting you in May!
We would like to send a special thank you to all of our sponsors and donors, for more information about our sponsors please visit our sponsors page and their websites.
In recognition, donors will be listed on our Honor Roll.
